Birthday Parties and Other Events

Parties require a $50 deposit when booking.

Remaining balance is due the day of the party before start time. Non refundable deposits can be used for future events within 1 year if party reservation is canceled at least 7 days before the start of party. Booking an outdoor event activity comes with inherent risk of poor weather impacting your plans and there is no guarantee that you will have pleasant weather. In the event of heavy rain or dangerous weather Flaxen Horse reserves the right to delay or reschedule your party at the farm or our attendance at your location for the safety of people and animals. It is recommended to book earlier in the morning or earlier in the afternoon to allow for a rain delay on the day of the party if necessary. Rain delay (same day) or rain day (different day) are at the discretion of Flaxen Horse and are generally only offered if there is a complete washout, high winds or risk of lightening. If a rain delay, on the same day, within 2 hours of original start time is offered it must be used or the deposit is forfeited. If Flaxen Horse cancels due to weather and a rain delay cannot be offered on the same day then the deposit will be moved to a different available date and time that is mutually agreed upon, within 1 year. But if Flaxen Horse is willing and able to follow through with the original party time and the event is canceled by customer less than 7 days before start time then the deposit is forfeited.
