Flaxen Horse Blue Birdie Bayou

---

Birdie entered the world ready to impress and that is what she continues to do here. While she has the cosmetic trifecta of blue eyes, moonspots and being polled, most importantly she is a great producer and easy to hand milk with her generous 1.75" teat length. She has a soft buttery udder that milks right down.

Her conformation has a lot of positives including depth and length of body, top line, nice front end assembly and a really nice medial. We are hoping to see improved rear leg angulation, fore udder extension and teat placement in her daughters.

While her pedigree is admittedly lacking in recent data or titles, she comes from proven milking lines in distant generations on her sire's side. She has been an asset to our herd and arguably my personal favorite doe all the way around.  We are excited to see what her daughters do and plan to help Birdie earn her milk star and get a linear appraisal date in 2027!
